POMAR DO ESPÍRITO SANTO

Baptized with the name of the place where it all began,
the Pomar Espírito Santo offers an incredible journey of flavors to Extremadura.
A full-bodied and extremely elegant red, the wine have very strong fruit scent.
In the combination of flavors joins the most complex character of spices and good structure,
resulting from the stage in barrels of French and American oak.

Touriga Nacional, Aragonês and Castelão.

Clay-limestone.
CLIMATE
Mediterranean climate influenced by the Atlantic.
WINEMAKING PROCESS
The grapes were destemmed, followed by fermentation for 8 days in stainless steel vats at controlled temperature.Pre-fermentation maceration. Maturation of 70% of the wine in stainless steel vats and the spare 30% in French and American oak, follows for 12 months. Aged in bottle for 6 months.
COLOR
Ruby red color.
AROMA
Elegant and complex, showing ripe fruit aromas combined with pleasant spice notes.
PALATE
Full bodied and aromatic.
Tannins are elegant and in harmony with aromatic complexity of the fruity and spicy aromas.
Great acidity, which induces freshness and great ageing potential.
FOOD PAIRING
Pairs well with cheese and roasted meat.
Serve at a temperature between 16°C to 18°C.
